Dr. Chaudhry is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon who completed his general surgery residency at the University of Connecticut and completed his cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at the University of Illinois. He then received advanced training in heart and lung transplantation and mechanical circulatory support from UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine where he was also a clinical instructor in surgery as a junior faculty member. He started his career as a thoracic transplant surgeon. In addition, he completed an advanced cardiac surgery fellowship at NYU Langone Medical Center where he was also a clinical instructor. His primary interest is cardiac surgery with additional interest in minimally invasive surgical approaches to cardiac surgical techniques.
